Red Cross is there for people in need

For more than a century, through everyday acts of humanity, Red Cross volunteers have helped people in crisis, strengthened communities and changed lives for the better.

They invite new members to join the more than 20,000 other Red Cross volunteers in Australia who provide much needed support to those who need it most.

The volunteer network is made up of a diverse range of people of varying ages and backgrouns, who speak many languages, have different skills and a vast array of experiences.

Just as their volunteers are diverse, so too are the range of volunteering activities they offer.
