Jazz gets Warwick region jumping



Winter in Queensland has never looked so colourful. Jumpers and Jazz in July returns from Thursday 17 to Sunday 27 July 2025, bringing with it a joyful blend of music, art, food, yarn, and community spirit.

What began as a creative idea to liven up the CBD has grown into one of Queensland’s most loved regional festivals — and the perfect excuse for a winter road trip.

Spanning 10 days, nine communities, and over 220 individual event experiences, Jumpers and Jazz transforms the Southern Downs into a celebration of connection, creativity and good times — with everything from jazz and tree jumpers to artisan markets and food truck feasts.

The festival is known for its one-of-a-kind charm:

● Warwick Art Gallery Tree jumper installations lining the CBD with whimsical, handmade yarn art

● Markets, pop-up bars, artisan stalls and food trucks energising public spaces

● Live jazz performances, from laid-back swing to upbeat New Orleans-style

● Creative workshops, roaming performers, art trails and interactive displays

● Family-friendly moments by day and boutique, ticketed experiences by night Signature Events Include:

● Jumpin’ Jazz Laneway Party – Friday 19 July = Featuring two BIG BAND festival favourites: UQ Big Band and Well Swung Daddies

● Grand Automobile Display – Sunday 20 July -A static showcase of veteran, vintage and classic vehicles throughout the CBD and Leslie Park

● Saturday Stroll n Swing – Saturday 26 July A free, open-air celebration with music, food Emergency Services Heroes display, Jazzy Kids Arena, Celebration of local flavours marketplace

● Saturday Jazz Arena – Saturday 26 July -A ticketed alfresco concert with boutique food vendors, licensed bars and performances

● Local Flavours Long Lunch – Saturday 26 July tantalise your tastebuds with a true paddock to plate experience

● Twilight Jazz ‘n’ Blues in the Park – Saturday 26 July -The feel-good twilight event with high-energy jazz, food and dancing under the stars

● Picnic in the Park Jazz Arena and Potters Markets – Sunday 27 July
