Dressing up for birthdays

High tea celebrations.

More than 130 residents, and their families, celebrated Seasons Living Waterford West’s 10th Birthday, with a special afternoon high tea.

The seniors living community held the celebration on Friday 1 July and as part of the festivities for the birthday celebration, the event included a high tea, birthday cake and live entertainment by local performer, Lachlan.

Stuart and Anne, two residents who have lived at the community for the entire ten years it has been open, cut the birthday cake on behalf of the group and led the “happy birthday” sing-along.

“Everyone is so excited that we have been able to celebrate this special milestone together,” Barbara Booth, the Community Manager, said.

“We haven’t been able to have many events in the last couple of years, so it is wonderful we can all be together to enjoy an afternoon of good food, good company, and dancing!”
