Zonta celebrates women’s day



International Women’s Day is an annual international event which celebrates the

achievements of women.

Celebrating the achievements of local women and girls, the Zonta Club of

Rockhampton is once again hosting its International Women’s Day Breakfast on

Wednesday 8 March at the Frenchville Sports Club.

Local entrepreneur, business and life coach and motivational speaker Elize Hattin

will be guest speaker and the 2023 Living Treasure and the Young Women in Public

Affairs Awards will be presented.

Zonta is an international organisation whose members work to Build a Better World

for Women and Girls. The Zonta Club of Rockhampton is celebrating its 40th year in

2023 supporting women and girls in our local community, as well as those in third

world countries by supporting young women’s education, women and children

affected by or at risk of domestic and family violence and or homelessness and

promoting equal rights and opportunities for women and girls.
