Award-winning play for Bats

A local cast brings playwrite Sue Sewell's play to life.

Bats Theatre Company Inc presents the award-winning play The Borrowing of Franklin’s ram.

The play by Sunshine Coast playwrite Sue Sewell and directed by Jacqui Mata Luque took out the Edythe Brook Cooper National Playwriting competition.

Bats Theatre have assembled a talented cast of locals to perform the play – a powerful drama set on a sheep station close to Parramatta, NSW in 1800s Colonial Australia.

Bookings are open for the play being performed at the Buderim War Memorial Hall from 15 July.

Guests are invited to bring along Nibbles if they like though the kitchen and Belfry Bar will be operating.
